    Employer Assistance and Resource Network on Disability Inclusion (EARN) - A primary resource for employers looking to recruit, retain, and provide advancement for qualified individuals with disabilities .

    The Centre for Excellence in Universal Design - Provides training and resources for everything from customer service and engagement to IT procurement and web accessibility.

    WebAIM - Comprehensive accessibility and WCAG training for businesses and web developers. They also provide website evaluation and certification services.

    ADA.gov - your legal resource for all things covered by the ADA and AADA.

    US Department of Labor - Your resource for free workplace compliance posters/signage, compliance assistance, FMLA forms, and FMLA information.

    The US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) - the federal agency that handles all ADA discrimination cases. They provide the “EEO is the Law” poster for signage compliance as well as training and education on how to stay compliant

    The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) - The standards center for all online and website accessibility standards. They set and maintain the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), and provide comprehensive resources to administrators looking to maintain compliance.

    The International Center for Disability Resources on the Internet (ICDRI) - a searchable database for disability resources available to employers, HR departments, legal teams, medical administrators, and individuals living with disabilities and chronic illness. If you are a business that is a resource for individuals living with disabilities or chronic illness, it’s important to become registered.

    American Foundation for the Blind (AFB) - providing comprehensive support for employers of and individuals with low-vision or blindness. They provide training and support for website incivility and digital access solutions.

    US Department of Labor - Your resource for FMLA and other employment discrimination not covered by the ADA

    Center for Health Care Strategies - A great resource for clinicians looking to better serve those individuals with complex needs and strategies to improve and simplify practice policies. Along with resources, they also provide information on lesser known or invisible needs such as trauma-informed care.

    FAIR Health - A certified 501(c)(3) health system support tool that helps providers with educating their patients about the healthcare system, facilitating conversations on shared decision making for guardians pf patients too young or unable to manage such decisions, and educational materials for clinicians and patients on how to best manage within the healthcare system.

    Multiple Chronic Conditions Resource Center - Providing comprehensive care for individuals living with complex healthcare needs and individuals living with multiple disabilities and chronic illnesses. They have practice and clinical guidelines for a variety of needs and how to manage diverse conditions as well as palliative care.

    SP Synergy Developmental Disability: Clinician Resources - A list of resources for those clinicians who provide care for individuals with developmental disabilities.

    W.H.O. Report on Patient Safety and Rights - The primary document illustrating the standards of care and rights for healthcare workers providing clinical care both domestic and internationally.

    The CDC Resources for Autism Spectrum Disorder - The Center for Disease Control’s list of resources for individuals and families of people with ASD including a section for healthcare providers.

They have a comprehensive searchable list that is sorted by symptom\illness, age, and game system. They also explain why certain games are therapeutic, and how they can be utilized in rehabilitation and pain management.

They also have a section for dental coverage as part of the Affordable Healthcare Act.

    The Family Caregiver Alliance (FCA) - An organization who’s mandate is to improve the quality of life for family caregivers and the people who receive their care.

Their downloadable content also includes interactive posters and educational materials which focus on a variety of specific learning differences. They also have online training and certification opportunities through the University of Edinburgh Online.

    National Library Service (NLS) - Provided by the Library of Congress, it is a free braille and talking book library service for people with temporary or permanent low vision, blindness, or a physical, perceptual, or reading disability that prevents them from using regular print materials. They provide thousands of books, periodicals, and government forms in braille and audio format.

    iBill - a free currency reader from the Bureau of Engraving and Printing available to all persons legally residing in the U.S. who are blind or visually impaired.

    NFB Newsline -a free audio news service for anyone who is blind, low-vision, deafblind, or otherwise print-disabled that offers access to more than 500 publications, emergency weather alerts, job listings, and more.
